Hello my friends,
It was a terrible start of the week the the main pairs ranging all day.
So, what I am about to show you today is a part of my strategy and why I respect it so much and Why is important to respect any strategy.
You will see bellow a mini-movie I captured today specially for this Tutorial because I want to point out the importance of Williams %R crossing RSI at a possible signal moment:
So, as I stated before I don't trust the market when W%R crosses RSI. Why ? Because it shows changes in minitrends.
So if I were a greedy trader I would enter in LIVE account when W%R retraced and crossed RSI(because all other signals were good: macd, crossing of 2 ema, price above ema) but I respected the rules of my strategy and I'm just happy because in DEMO, in the video above someone would have lost $520 USD. I'm happy that I saved my money and now I expect more signals.
REMEMBER: Always respect your strategy, keep your Stop Loss INTACT, don't move it lower or higher hoping for a better trade, don't waste your money with false thoughts and emotions, keep steady and strong on your principles.
The law says: Everyone should be able to make 10 pips/day at the right moment on the right pair !

GBP/USD @ 2.0044 BUY Failed because pattern
Hello friends,
I expected things to happen after 6-7AM GMT and at 8.00AM GMT GBP/USD made a move.
In the following lines I will explain how some candle patterns help us to stay away from getting fried.
First here is the chart of the movement:

At 7.00AM GMT a signal was created and entry was almost perfect at that time. 2 EMAs crossed, MACD was up, price broke the RegChan, W%R retraced...but too much. And more, the price formed a candle pattern that is well known as a Graveyard Stone and it means there is a possibility for the price to reverse (but at this stage it can't reverse too much) so this is the best time to wait for W%R to cross RSI again UP but bellow -20.
If you were to wait a little you would save 10 pips (from stop loss) and catch a better smoother move. I rather prefer to pay attention to this kind of stuff than to be stressed because price went against me. I don't even think the price breaks my rules as long as I respect them
I places "Check" symbols where you had the chance to enter again without problems and take 10 pips for sure.
So, I think this lesson teach many people that patterns can be taken into consideration in many different situations, time frames or pairs.
See you tomorrow !

USD/JPY @ 103.16 SELL - Failure - Smart move
Hello again my friends,
I would like to share with you today a missed trade but from my perspective was a smart move.
Here is the chart and bellow it a small commentary about it:

Hour was 7.30AM GMT, proper time, good signal, MACD turned down, %R was above -80 level, I was ready to open a position at 103.16 for 10 pips, SL @ 103.42, BUT one thing didn't fit over there, and that is the movement didn't break the regression channel, so for me that's a sign there is a possibility to retrace a little (and for UY, EY or GY a little means at least 30 pps). And as you can see it moved back to 103.47 so would have eaten my stop loss going over it with 5 pips.
So I missed this trade, but I don't mind, I saved 10 pips. I'm sure there will be more soon. For example: EUR/USD and GBP/USD are ranging right now and I'm sure they will go somewhere soon, so I expect it to happen and if I'm there I will take my 10 pips of glory :)
Regards and happy pipin' :D
